Kei Sessara is the bodyguard and close friend of Kenta Morcades. Although she is little more than two years older than Kenta, Kei has had much more extensive training and gained real experience in combat from an early age.
Wielding a Whipsword, a weapon that her people crafted and have exclusively mastered, Kei lacks elemental control or magical talent, but is highly skilled in terms of physical combat. Swift, stealthful, and contemplative, she makes for a dangerous foe and a valuable ally.
Having known Kenta from an early age, she is protective of him and acts as a wise counsel to balance out his less prudent choices. Her speech is formal and her manner professional whenever a serious task is at hand, however she maintains some level of personability.
